Why did I choose my major?

 Hi, my name is Ruben, I am studying dentistry at the university of Chile.

Since I was little, I have been interested in the area of ​​health, since my mother is a doctor, This led me to decide to study a career in the health area, at first I wanted to study medicine like her but I realized that dentistry is super entertaining and versatile.

When I was a child, one of my dreams was to be a soccer player and help many people, but when I grew up I realized that I didn't like soccer enough to dedicate my life to it, so I decided to study dentistry to help and improve the quality of people life.

Talking to you about my experience at the university, it is complicated, since I had a first year full of family problems and I was not able to focus as much as possible on the degree, but this year is being more enjoyable, I like the internships and I feel that I am improving every day.
